Rechargeable vibrating massage cushion with removable super soft and tactile minky cover.

Good for:

Our vibrating cushion can be used for sensory and tactile input and are a comfortable and convenient way to provide soothing, regulating and healing effects to any part of your body.  The massage effect is activated by squeezing the cushion , hugging it to the body or pressing your back into it whilst seated.

Good to know:

  • The cover is soft and tactile to make the cushion extra comfy and nice to use.  The cover can be removed for washing and recharging the cushion.
  • Vibration itself has many therapeutic benefits for people of all ages. In particular, children with sensory processing disorders / sensory integration dysfunction enjoy, and often need or crave, the input these massage cushions provide.
  • Light and portable (weights 425g) the cushion is is filled with high density sponge for support and comfort.
  • There is an On/Off switch on the front of the cushion and the massage affect is triggered by squeezing or sitting on the cushion making it a great "cause and effect" tool. 
  • Please note the colour of the cushion will be blue.
  • Measures 30cm x 30cm with 6 nodules and rechargeable.
  • One charge will last approximately 18 hours.

  • Walking along the road to school less stressful.

    Comfortable, easy for child to put on themselves and adjust, these also fold back down to be compact. They do not block a lot of sound but lower levels. They make walking along the road to school less stressful for my daughter taking the sound of passing cars to "noisy cat purrs" in her words.

    DELIVERY

    Products that are in stock and ordered before 2pm, Monday to Friday, will be despatched on the same working day. 

    Sensory Direct Weighted Blankets, Weighted Jackets, Lap Pads and other handmade products may take 3-5 working days to be despatched if not in stock. We will endeavour to contact customers whose orders may be affected by any despatch delays.

    • Delivery is FREE on orders of £45 and above within Mainland UK (excluding Highlands, Offshore Islands and Northern Ireland).
    • Mainland UK delivery charges are £3.95 Royal Mail and £5.95 for Courier delivery for orders under £45. (See FAQ for Courier Estimated Delivery Times).
    • Small products are sent by Royal Mail. Larger products are sent by Courier for next day delivery. For smaller products that are in stock and ordered before 2pm, you can now select and pay for DPD next day delivery at the checkout stage.
    • Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
    • We are currently unable to ship outside of the UK unless you hold a trade account with us.

    RETURNS

    We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, but if you find that the product is not suitable you must return the product to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange of the same or similar. There are some exemptions to this, please view the Returns page for further information regarding Sensory Direct Weighted Blankets.

    Returns of sale products must be within 14 days of receipt.

    To receive a refund or exchange, goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging and with all original documentation.

    Our Story

    When my son was born with autism, my world changed & Sensory Direct was born

    Ethan had been prescribed different forms of medication, and although they helped a little, I didn’t want to become reliant upon them, so Ethan’s Paediatric Consultant suggested a Weighted Blanket. I remember hearing this and thinking ‘what on earth is a Weighted Blanket’? At this stage I was blissfully unaware of how life changing that Weighted Blanket would become.
