What's in the pack?

  • 1 x Pop Up White Sensory Den (90cm x 90cm x 90cm) (Worth £52 inc VAT!!)
  • 1 x Kaleidoscope Lamp - creates wonderful wonderland moving lights which will be projected against the white den (requires 3 x AA batteries, not included)
  • 1 x Hand-held colour changing light - product may vary dependent upon stock availability.

Our white pop up cube den is very easy to use; the den pops open under its own sprung tension and requires no poles, pegs or ties. 

Suggestions:

In a dark or semi-dark room, the den becomes beautifully lit with the spiralling spectrum of lights created by the kaleidoscope lamp. Make yourself a calming winter wonderland sensory space that is easy to pack up and put away.

There's enough space in the igloo den for two small children or one larger child.

  • The pop up construction means that the sensory cube den can be instantly set up for use, then quickly folded down and stored away in the carry bag included

  • Walking along the road to school less stressful.

    Comfortable, easy for child to put on themselves and adjust, these also fold back down to be compact. They do not block a lot of sound but lower levels. They make walking along the road to school less stressful for my daughter taking the sound of passing cars to "noisy cat purrs" in her words.

    Kaleidoscope Lamp:

    This small rotating kaleidoscope lamp is amazing as it casts a calming, shimmering light pattern on walls and ceiling.

    The lights inside are projected through the rotating prism-like surface of the lamp, causing a wonderful array of calming colours to splash across all surfaces in a series of mesmerising patterns.

     

    Guidelines for Safe Usage of Lamps:

    Sensory Lights are designed as therapeutic items for visual stimulation and should NOT be considered or used as toys.

    • Use under supervision at all times
    • Contains batteries and small parts which represent a choking hazard
    • Inspect batteries for signs of leakage
    • Inspect the product prior to each use
    • Discontinue use immediately if the product shows signs of wear and tear

    Please note Christmas delivery is not guaranteed as once your products have been passed to the courier we have no influence or control over their delivery timeframes.

     

    CHRISTMAS RETURNS POLICY

    We want to give our customers peace of mind that all eligible products purchased between 1st November 2024 and 25th December 2024 can be returned or exchanged until 31st January 2025.

    Customers simply need to return the product(s) in their original re-sellable condition together with the completed Returns Form.

    Please note this excludes reporting missing or damaged products which must be reported within 3 working days, so please ensure you open and check your order when it arrives.

     

    DELIVERY

    Products that are in stock and ordered before 2pm, Monday to Friday, will be despatched on the same working day. 

    Sensory Direct's Weighted Blankets, Weighted Jackets, Shoulder Wraps, Lap Pads and other handmade products may take 3-5 working days to be despatched if not in stock. We will endeavour to contact customers whose orders may be affected by any despatch delays.

    • Delivery is FREE for online orders of £45 and above within Mainland UK (excluding Highlands, Offshore Islands and Northern Ireland).
    • Mainland UK delivery charges are £3.95 Royal Mail and £5.95 for Courier delivery for orders under £45. (See FAQs for Courier Estimated Delivery Times).
    • Small products are sent by Royal Mail. Larger products are sent by Courier for Mainland UK next day delivery. For smaller products that are in stock and ordered before 2pm, you can now select and pay for Mainland UK next day delivery at the checkout stage.
    • Some larger products may be delivered directly from the manufacturer. 
    • Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
    • We are currently unable to ship outside of the UK unless you hold a trade account with us.

    RETURNS

    We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, but if you find that the product is not suitable you must return the product to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange of the same or similar. There are some exemptions to this, please view the Returns page for further information regarding Sensory Direct's Weighted Blankets.

    Returns of sale products must be within 14 days of receipt.

    To receive a refund or exchange, goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging and with all original documentation.

    Our Story

    When my son was born with autism, my world changed and Sensory Direct was born

    Ethan had been prescribed different forms of medication, and although they helped a little, I didn’t want to become reliant upon them, so Ethan’s Paediatric Consultant suggested a Weighted Blanket. I remember hearing this and thinking ‘what on earth is a Weighted Blanket’? At this stage I was blissfully unaware of how life changing that Weighted Blanket would become.
