Mathmos Space Projector - Silver (& lava wheel)

The Slimline Mathmos Space Projector is a great light projector and provides fantastic and ever changing effects wherever you may aim it.

Comes with one calming Blue/Green lava effect wheel.
Other lave effect wheel colours are available separately.
Projects a calming, colourful image up to 1.5 metres in diameter and can be angled to project onto a wall or a ceiling.
Great for use as a calming sensory light and is ideal for a sensory room or sensory area to help calm and relax.
The brightness and size of the image are controlled by the amount of light in the room and the distance from the display surface.

Tips:

The further the projector is away from the wall or ceiling the larger the projection; use the focus ring to obtain a crisp image.
To achieve the biggest lava lamp projection 13ft / 4m you need a dark room and a white wall or ceiling. Watch the video to find out more.

Important:

This projector is not a toy and adult supervision should be used at all times.

Walking along the road to school less stressful.
Comfortable, easy for child to put on themselves and adjust, these also fold back down to be compact. They do not block a lot of sound but lower levels. They make walking along the road to school less stressful for my daughter taking the sound of passing cars to "noisy cat purrs" in her words.

What size image is produced by the Space Projector?

The scale of the focused image achieved will vary depending on the effect. Lava lamp wheels project focused images of up to 4 meters / 13 feet in a dark room. Please note that a darker environment is required to achieve a larger image.

Can the Space Projector be displayed on the ceiling or floor?

The Space Projector can be cast onto a ceiling by rotating the body but cannot be angled toward the floor.

Can I use a lava lamp wheel and graphic wheel simultaneously?

No, only one wheel at a time. However, you can use wheels in conjunction with graphic or coloured slides to achieve more possibilities.

Can I buy a Space Projector without an effect?

No. The Space Projector includes one Red/ Green effect as standard. You can also purchase alternative effects separately here.

DELIVERY

Products that are in stock and ordered before 2pm, Monday to Friday, will be despatched on the same working day.

Sensory Direct's Weighted Blankets, Weighted Jackets, Shoulder Wraps, Lap Pads and other handmade products may take 3-5 working days to be despatched if not in stock. We will endeavour to contact customers whose orders may be affected by any despatch delays.

Delivery is FREE for online orders of £45 and above within Mainland UK (excluding Highlands, Offshore Islands and Northern Ireland).
Mainland UK delivery charges are £3.95 Royal Mail and £5.95 for Courier delivery for orders under £45. (See FAQs for Courier Estimated Delivery Times).
Small products are sent by Royal Mail. Larger products are sent by Courier for Mainland UK next day delivery. For smaller products that are in stock and ordered before 2pm, you can now select and pay for Mainland UK next day delivery at the checkout stage.
Some larger products may be delivered directly from the manufacturer.
Please note we cannot deliver to a PO Box address.
We are currently unable to ship outside of the UK unless you hold a trade account with us.

RETURNS

We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, but if you find that the product is not suitable you must return the product to us within 30 days of receipt for a refund or exchange of the same or similar. There are some exemptions to this, please view the Returns page for further information regarding Sensory Direct's Weighted Blankets.

Returns of sale products must be within 14 days of receipt.

To receive a refund or exchange, goods must be returned unused, in their original packaging and with all original documentation.

When my son was born with autism, my world changed and Sensory Direct was born

Ethan had been prescribed different forms of medication, and although they helped a little, I didn’t want to become reliant upon them, so Ethan’s Paediatric Consultant suggested a Weighted Blanket. I remember hearing this and thinking ‘what on earth is a Weighted Blanket’? At this stage I was blissfully unaware of how life changing that Weighted Blanket would become.
