Some chewers will sensory seek a soft material to put in their mouth to receive sensory feedback from. This can sometimes mean that collars and cuffs are sucked or bitten down on leaving them soggy and wet. Sensory Direct have come up with a soft cotton material alternative to our hard Oral Chews in the Comfort range. Our Comfort Scarf and Comfort Lanyards can be worn around the neck and are machine washable.
Alternatively we offer our Cuff and Hand & Wrist Protectors that are made with a wipe clean material and offer a simple yet effective aid to prevent the chewer from biting their hands and cuffs.
Please note that no chew is indestructible and adult supervision is required at all times. Regular checks for wear and tear are essential.
